Sweet Corn in Husks

  • 4 ears fresh corn, in their husks


  • Butter (or an herb butter) for serving
  • Tomato sauce (if you like)



Step 1
Trim excess silk off end of the corn with kitchen scissors.

Step 2
Place the corn in a deep container. Cover the corn with cold water and soak for at least 1 hour. When ready to cook, remove the corn from water and shake to remove excess water.

Step 3
Cook the corn over direct/medium heat for about 25 minutes, turning 3 times. Use gloves to remove husks and silk before serving.
